Since 1958 Bishop Ryan Catholic Secondary has demonstrated a proud legacy and tradition of high academic achievement, gospel values and service to others. This school is committed to Catholic education's goal of educating the entire person.
In his seminal book, Catholic Education Ensuring a Future, Father James Mulligan writes, "Catholic education embraces three interlocking dimensions: the message revealed by God that the Church proclaims; fellowship in the life of the Holy Spirit; and service to the Christian community and the entire human community."
Our dedicated teachers have established a strong tradition of rigorous academic standards. As a result, the majority of our graduates gain admission to university and college. Those students who decide to enter the workforce directly after high school graduation do so equipped with the essential knowledge and skills they need to participate fully in society and the world of work.
