- Where do I find which course I need to take?
is the site that you will find the information you need to make your course choices.
- Who can help me with my course selections?
Your guidance counsellor, teacher and/or parents will help you as you navigate through the course choices. Follow the advise of your teachers when it comes to selecting the correct pathway ie. locally developed, applied, academic, workplace, college or university.
Book an appointment to meet with your Guidance Counsellor ASAP!
- What do I need before I begin?
Just go to and follow the steps listed.
- For a complete listing of courses offered at your school, select Secondary Courses
- To complete your course plan, select Planning Options (This is a critical step, to ensure that you are on the right track to graduate.)
- After you have completed your Course Plan you are now ready to go to Trillium to register for your courses.

Trillium Course Selection Process

- How do I access the Web-based application?
Access the Trillium Web Course Requests by following the link found in under "Secondary Courses"/"School Name"/"Trillium Web Course Requests". Please click on the following link to get to the next stage of the web course request
- How do I create a student login account?
Click on the "New Users Sign-In" link to create a new account if you have not already done so. In the "Student Information" area, enter your own information. You will need your Ontario Education Number (OEN) not your Student Number. This number can be found on any Provincial Report Card or on your timetable. If you cannot find your OEN number please contact student services.
- How do I create a Username and Password?
The User Name and password must meet the criteria listed on the web course request page. If it does not meet the requirements, it will not allow you to proceed to the next step.
- Once I have created my login account, what's next?
- Login and select "Course Request" Tab.
- Make your course selections by choosing the course and the "ADD" button.
- To select an alternative for a course, select the course you want the alternate for i.e. ENG 1D1 then select the alternate course and click "ADD ALTERNATE".
- Click "SUBMIT" to lock-in your requests.
- Click "REPORT" for a hard copy to hand in on registration day.
- Be sure to give us alternate to your optional choices, this will ensure your chances at getting the course you want.
- If you want to take COOP then add "COOPED", for OYAP add "OYAP".
- If you are not returning then add "SNR" or "SEM500" if you plan to return for only one semester.
- What do I do if I want to delete a course or I change my mind after I submitted my option sheet?
Firstly, to delete a course, select the course requested and click "REMOVE" button. The "CLEAR" button will remove all courses requested. Secondly, if you already submitted your choices online and you want to change your choices, just make an appointment to see your counsellor. Do not re-submit!! Remember to contact Student Services if you have any questions or you simply need our help.
- How do I create a student login account?
You will be able to select your courses online. We will be collecting the registration form, the hardcopy option sheet and the $40 activity fee. It is important to follow these timelines if you want the best opportunity at getting the course you want!
