Jordan Dewaele - Athlete of the Month November 2011, Bishop Ryan, Volleyball
Jordan Dewaele has had an outstanding volleyball career at Bishop Ryan High School. Jordan has started in the setting position all five years and has been one of the leaders in the successful Bishop Ryan Volleyball program. Standing 6'6, he is a dominant blocker in the province, facing the best power hitters all over Ontario. He has been team captain for two years, won the league championship two years, won two GHAC championships, and in his final year, this year, he won a silver medal at GHAC and will be attending OFSAA for a third consecutive year. Team-mates look up to him on and off the court.
The rest of the province is starting to notice his size and athleticism. Scouts and universities inquire about him on a regular basis and after the OFSAA championships a decision will be made where he attends his post-secondary career. To an outstanding student athlete, but most or all a great person, good luck. Congratulations on being chosen athlete of the month for Bishop Ryan C.S.S.
