This message is for all Grade 10 students writing the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test and any Grade 11 and 12 students that have not fulfilled the literacy graduation requirement.

This message is to inform you that your Grade 10 period 1 classes will be participating in the spring administration of the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT).

Date, time and location specific to your class will be shared with you by your period 1 teacher.

If you are NOT in a grade 10 class period 1, you will be writing the OSSLT on Wednesday March 29 in the Learning Commons. Your period 1 teacher will be sharing correspondence with you regarding the test details.

Please note: this semester we have divided our participating classes to write in four groups, over 2 days during period 1 ONLY. It is IMPERATIVE that you be at school on BOTH days your class is set to write the test as successfully completing the OSSLT is a graduation requirement.
