Bishop Ryan Christmas Miracle:
"Hope Happens Here"
As the angels proclaimed at Jesus' birth "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace and goodwill toward all people!" (Lk 2:14).
With Advent quickly approaching and the Christmas season drawing near, we take this time to reflect in gratitude for the gifts we have. Many families in our community experience financial hardship and are struggling, especially with the high cost of living. We extend the peace and goodwill we have received from our faith in Christ to help our brothers and sisters in need.
This year, our campaign “Hope Happens Here” will be running from Monday November 17 to Friday December 12th. Through this initiative, we will raise money to support over 50 Bishop Ryan Families in financial need. Last year, we raised over $7000 with the support of our school community and Bishop Ryan Alumni! This year, we are hoping to meet or exceed this amount through donations of wish list gifts, gift cards, and monetary donations. You can generously support in a number of ways, depending on your comfort level:
Support-a-Family: Period 1 classes have the opportunity to support a family in our community as a group by gathering donations based on the family's individual needs. Participating classes will be entered in a draw to win a pancake breakfast for their class, prepared and served by Santa Claus and his elves!
Bake Sale: Purchase a delicious treat at our Bake Sale in the forum on Friday December 12th. Students can also purchase additional raffle tickets on this day to increase their Period 1 class's odds of winning a pancake breakfast prepared and served by Santa Claus and his elves
Gift Cards: Students can purchase gift cards and bring them to Chaplain’s office (with card activation slip).

If your child does not have a Period 1 class but would like to support our campaign, we ask that you bring your donation to the Chaplain's office or through cash online.
